The European hospital and healthcare employers’ association. The association aims to regroup at European level national employers’ associations operating in the hospital and healthcare sector, in order to co-ordinate their views and actions with regard to a sector and a market in constant evolution

Full members of HOSPEEM have the right to take an active role in negotiations and in the discussions on issues important to the hospital sector across Europe. They have the opportunity to be seen as a major player (as a source of expertise and information) in the hospital and health sector by the main European institutions...
Both the European Commission and the European Parliament tend to be more sympathetic to the views of health employers than to governments.They are able to exercise political pressure and to have the right to participate in negotiations at the European level will increase the lobbying pressure and the influence of each full member of HOSPEEM at national level.
To be member of HOSPEEM will give the opportunity to have information and influence also in the cross-sectoral social dialogue and in any lobbying activity related to Services of General Interest through CEEP
